Warner Bros. Digital seeks a candidate excited about using data and technology to enable and activate world class digital marketing campaigns. Warner Bros. engages with hundreds of millions of consumers around the world on web, mobile, television and movie screens. The Warner Bros. Consumer Intelligence (WBCI) team aggregates, analyzes, and activates data generated by these platforms to execute digital advertising strategies for Warner Bros. divisions.
The Director of Digital Marketing Operations will work closely with marketing teams across Warner Bros. divisions, including international markets, to provide thought leadership and data-enabled solutions. They will oversee a team that manages the studio’s activation of first and third party data, creating cross-platform CRM across the digital landscape including digital media, addressable television and email marketing. They will also be responsible for a team which manages audience segmentation, ad operations and tagging, and in-flight optimization. They will have the opportunity to operate in an exciting suite of ad-tech and martech platforms. They will develop tools, standards and processes to support all audience activation capabilities.
Partner with internal marketing stakeholders to understand activation needs, develop & deliver data-enabled solutions, and provide marketing data thought leadership.
Oversee marketing campaign operations workflow:
Audience Building & Syndication Enablement.
Media Trafficking and Tagging.
Email marketing planning.
Real-time campaign optimization across Facebook, Search, YouTube, Programmatic, and publisher partners.
Determine, implement and manage the advertising and marketing tech stack to support campaign operations and continuously build new capabilities.
Work with data engineering teams to ensure interoperability between data systems and the advertising and marketing platforms.
Manage and oversee relationships with vendors and external agencies.
Hire, train and mentor a team of marketing tech and data lovers.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required.
10+ years of marketing experience in digital media, marketing systems, or related technologies.
3+ years of leading a team.
Deep understanding in Digital Marketing and Digital Media, including programmatic buying, paid & owned social, SEM, Email and other channels.
Experience in consumer data collection platforms, such as Data Management Platforms (i.e., BlueKai, Krux, Adobe) and Customer Data Platforms (i.e., Segment, mParticle) and Tag Managers.
Experience in ad servers and media buying platforms (i.e., Google Campaign Manager, DV360, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and others).
Experience in digital marketing and advertising analytics platforms (i.e., Datorama, Tableau).
Experience managing vendors and 3rd party services.
Ability to communicate effectively with media, marketing, ad tech, and technical development teams.
Ability to oversee multiple projects and prioritize team workload in a fast-paced environment.
